Designed for women's slightly narrower hands and made of durable goat leather and weather resistant softshell fabric this is the perfect mitten for powder snow with a long collar and a drawstring to keep snow out, warmth in. The Patrol Gauntlet has a removable Bemberg polyester fleece liner which means you can pop a heat pack in between the shell and the liner on a cold day and enjoy the warmth without the heat pack touching your skin, and at the end of the day, you can pull your liner out, allowing any residual moisture to evaporate overnight, giving you fresh, dry, mittens in the morning. The removable liner also gives you the flexibility to pull it out and replace it with a lighter liner for ski touring, or a puffier one (sold separately) if you’re living in particularly bitter cold.
