Bluestone Yeast - San Diego (BSY-A010)

San Diego is an American Ale strain which is an excellent variety for producing clean ales such as pale ales, IPA's and porters at standard ale temperatures.

For exceptionally crisp ales, ferment at lower temperatures of 14°C - 16°C. 

We highly recommend a Dry Ice Pack or two for your yeasts voyage OR for a short stay in our pick up lockers in the warmer months of the year.
Please choose Australia Post Express if you want to reduce the the risk of transit time delay and its affect on your yeast.

San Diego is an American Ale strain which is an excellent variety for producing clean ales such as pale ales, IPA's and porters at standard ale temperatures.

For exceptionally crisp ales, ferment at lower temperatures of 14°C - 16°C. 

This strain exhibits low to medium flocculation characteristics, so for crystal clear beers filtration or fining is required. You can purchase finings here.

To ensure a healthy fermentation it is a good idea to incorporate some yeast nutrient in your brewing. You can purchase some here.
