The 2nd Generation ARC wheels have already proven themselves at the very highest levels of professional Road and Triathlon racing. So how do you improve on near-perfection?

Made in DT’s European manufacturing facility, the 3rd generation ARC 1100 rear wheel pushes the boundaries of aerodynamic performance, weight savings, and engineering precision. Developed in partnership with the aero experts at Swiss Side and validated through rigorous wind tunnel testing at GST in Germany, this wheel is designed for speed, control, and elite-level efficiency.

The latest rim features a 22 mm internal width optimized for 28–30 mm tyres, shaped in a proprietary hybrid V-profile. This allows the use of deeper rims while enhancing crosswind stability — outperforming even the previous shallower designs.

DT’s refined carbon lay-up and impeccable ‘out of the mold’ finish eliminate the need for cosmetic veneers, reducing weight and improving durability. Every rim is individually scanned internally, ensuring each carbon layer is perfectly aligned before assembly.

The outcome? A weight savings of up to 158 grams per pair compared to the previous generation — despite increased depth and width.

At the heart of the ARC 1100 is the DICUT 180 rear hub, engineered for aerodynamic efficiency and reliability. It features 36-tooth Ratchet EXP internals and SiNC ceramic bearings, making it DT’s lightest and lowest-drag disc hub yet — all while remaining easy to service and built to last.

DT and Swiss Side’s continued research into rotational drag has also led to the development of Aerolite II spokes, used across the entire wheelset for maximum aero gains.

The rear wheel comes ready for 12 x 142 mm thru axles, with both Shimano Road and SRAM XDR freehubs included. The maximum recommended system weight is 110 kg.

As a complete WTS (Wheel-Tyre System), each wheel includes the revolutionary Continental Aero 111 front tyre and a GP 5000 STR rear tyre, both paired with lightweight TPU tubes. Also included are wheel bags, tubeless rim tape, and lightweight tubeless valves.
